Ok..finally I'm doing some blogging after a long hiatus. I'm blogging only because of an experience that I went through today.

Hazwan came by my house with his bro to pick up some stuffs. During the course of their stay, my sis asked Zaid whether he could sent Izhar to Larkin, he said yeah why not since he just renewed his passport that morning. Zaid said he was somehow "moved" to renew his passport.
Zaid was driving, and its his 1st time driving in Malaysia.

So we went to JB, first off we went to Larkin bus terminal to see off Izhar. After that we headed to Danga bay to eat at Singgah Selalu(SS). To get there from Larkin we had to go towards Johor customs. We were stuck in a jam for over 40mins just to get to an exit which would lead us on our way to our destination. We missed the small alley which has no signboards or anything..we had turn ard to go to thru the alley. The ride after that was uneventful. When ate, chilled, talked, joke around at SS.

We made our way back towards SG..on the way we went thru a road that is small. It could only fit about one and a half cars. We were thinking uh," maybe we just need to squeeze to the road like what motorists usually do over there. But then the road got smaller and smaller up to the point where only a single car could pass through. It was then that we realised that we in a one way road and we were going again a lot of fast oncoming traffic. We were like @!#%$. Zaid had to bust thru a roadworks barrier(made out of rope) to get the car out of the way, luckily the barrier wasn't made out of cement or something.

We were like panicking, and we had to turn back because there's no other way to get out of the situation. Wan had to go towards the other end of the road to become the person to stop oncoming traffic. My sis became the person who guided Zaid on his reversing(there were potholes, big ones inside the area of the barrier) and I had to move the barriers out of the car's way. Wan got lashed with vulgarities from the "mat motors" of JB a couple of times. We had to wait until one car driver gave us the chance to get out of the rut and go with the flow of traffic. We found out that the road that we were suppose to go was diverted to another way. The thing is there was no clear markings of where to go. No signboard no nothing. Wtf.

The "mat motors" that passed us when we were stucked gathered somewhere around 10m away from us. We were thinking whether they wanted to do anything. I said to Zaid to speed off, they can't do anything because we're moving and if they try to do something we could just ram them(Hey, it was either the car or our safety). They followed us for a while but then they stop doing so after some time. The ride back home was peaceful...there wasn't a jam unlike a few hours before. We reached Singapore around 4am+ and we were all so relieved to make it back to familiar territory. I think we're all thankful to God that no harm was done to us.

Phew.
